Flow cells with connection unit only
: Tighten the screw of the
connection unit hand-tight.
6. To ensure best performance, make sure that the flow cell is properly
installed:
Check against the flow cell positioning marks (no. 1 in the figure
below) whether the flow cell is seated correctly.

If the flow cell is not seated correctly
: Check whether the flow
cell is tilted by the force of kinked capillaries.
¨
If the flow cell is seated correctly
: Arrange the capillaries in such
a way that the capillaries do not exert any force on the flow cell
and the flow cell is positioned correctly.

7. Make sure that the capillaries run closely (less than 2 mm distance)
in front of the positioning pin (see image above).
This ensures that no significant force is exerted on the capillaries
when the cover is mounted and that the correct flow cell position is
maintained.
