Orion AquaMate Spectrophotometer User Manual 

Thermo Scientific 

Multiwavelength  

The Multiwavelength application obtains multiple fixed-wavelength measurements. It is a fast 
alternative to scanning if the wavelengths of interest are well known. This section covers:

Recalling a Test  

 

Setting the Parameters for Multiwavelength Method 

1.

 

Press the test key to access the Test Types menu.  

2.

 

Press the ▲or ▼ key to highlight Multiwavelength and press the enter key. 

 

3.

 

Highlight and change the displayed test parameters, including Test Name, Measurement 
Mode and Sample Positioner.

Some parameters only appear when the concentration mode is selected, while others 
appear regardless of the selected measurement mode. See the 

Parameters

 section 

for more information on the test parameter settings. 

 

4.

 

Press the Set nms function key to add the wavelengths and factors. Factors can only be 
added when the measurement mode is set to Conc/Factor.
