Thermo Scientific 

Using the Advanced A-%T-C Test Method 

Use the Advanced A-%T-C application for absorbance or % transmittance measurements that 
include a measurement delay time, or for automating the measurement of multiple samples with 
a cell changer. This section covers:

Selecting the measurement mode (Absorbance or %Transmittance)  

•

 

Setting Up Test Parameters  

•

 

Taking Measurements  

•

 

Recalling a Test  

 

Setting the Parameters for Advanced A-%T-C Method 

1.

 

Press the test key to access the Test Types menu.  

2.

 

Press the ▲or ▼ key to highlight Advanced A-%T-C and press the enter key. 

 

3.

 

Highlight and change the displayed test parameters, including Test Name, Measurement 
Mode, Wavelength and Sample Positioner.

Some parameters only appear when one of the concentration modes is selected, 
while others appear regardless of the selected measurement mode. See the 

Parameters

 section for more information on the test parameter settings.

Press the ▲or ▼ key to highlight More parameters… and press the enter key to 
view additional parameters displayed on the second page. 

4.

 

Press the Save Test function key and follow the onscreen prompts to save the test.
