Setting the Parameters for a Scan 

1.

 

Press the test key to access the Test Types menu.  

2.

 

Press the ▲or ▼ key to highlight Scanning and press the enter key. 

 

3.

 

Highlight and change the displayed test parameters, including Test Name, Measurement 
Mode, Start Wavelength, Stop Wavelength, Sample Positioner, Scan Speed and Interval. 

a.

 section for more information on the test parameter settings.

Use the 

Baseline Expiration Setting

 to set a baseline expiration time. 

ii.

 

If Auto Save Data is set On, enter a Data File Name before accessing the Run 
Test or Measure Samples functions.

 section for detailed 

information on selecting the appropriate Sample Positioner setting.

Scan tests only measure one sample at a time, so Auto 6 and Auto 3 Sample 
Positioner settings are not fully functional.
