Press the Smoothing function key to smooth the data if it shows sampling noise.

Press the 3-Pt Net function key to determine the peak height using a 3-point net
equation. The 3-point net measurement screen shows the cursor options and three
cursor lines (designated for the left, center and right wavelengths).
i.
Press the ←Cursor and Cursor→ function keys to position the left cursor line
at the desired wavelength value, press the Next Cursor function key and
repeat for the center cursor line and right cursor line.
ii.
Press the Enter Factor function key to access the set factor box, use the
numeric keypad to enter the desired factor value and press the enter key.
iii.
The instrument will calculate the value for the 3-point net absorbance for the
selected wavelengths, multiplied by the selected factor.
c.
Press the Area function key to calculate the area under the curve.
i.
Press the ←Cursor and Cursor→ function keys to position the left cursor line
at the desired wavelength value.
ii.
Press the Next Cursor function key.
iii.
Press the ←Cursor and Cursor→ function keys to position the right cursor
line at the desired wavelength value.
