Section 6 – SR-2 Service Procedure G03A

Step Action

Result

Comments

Temporarily connect a known

good test ETV at the ETV

connector.

The original valve can be left

in place on the unit.

Position an assistant in the trailer

to report valve operation.

From the Maintenance Menu,

enter Evacuation Test.

The test ETV should open when

Evacuation Test is entered.

Exit Evacuation Test.

The test ETV should close when

Evacuation Test is exited.

If the test ETV opens and closes

as described in Step 6 & 7,

replace the unit ETV.

If the ETV must be changed

consult the Maintenance

Manual for the specific unit.

If the test ETV does not open

and close as described in Steps

6 and 7, test the

Microprocessor/Interface Board

as shown in Service Procedure

A01A.

If the Microprocessor/Interface

Board Test fails, replace the

microprocessor or interface

board as indicated by test

results.
