Search Type
from the bottom
menu and select the type of
search. The search events are
configured in the same fashion as
the trigger events.

configuration settings for details:

*Requires the Logic Analyzer

4. To set the threshold levels for the
search events (instead of the
trigger level that is used for trigger
events), use the threshold soft-key
from the bottom menu.
Note
The search function can support up to 10,000
events, however only 1,000 events can be
displayed on screen at once.

Background
As the trigger system and search feature have
similar settings, their settings can be used
interchangeably by using the Copy functions.

2. To copy settings of the selected
search type to the trigger settings,
select
Copy Search Settings to
Trigger.
3. To copy over the current trigger
settings to the search settings,
press
Copy Trigger Settings to
Search
.
Note
If the settings cannot be copied or if the there are
no trigger settings configured (so that you cannot
copy from the trigger settings), then those
particular options will not be available.
