function
Description
System test
With this function, you can test individual
functions of the Saveris system. Please contact
Testo Customer Service. Contact details can be
found under www.testo.com/service-contact
Database
backup
Creates a backup file for all projects.
Administrator rights are required and
the directory to which the backup file is
to be saved must be activated for the
network service.
Restore
database
Loads the previously saved backup file and
thereby enables access to the saved project
data.
Administrator rights and re-installation
of the system are required. The startup
wizard must not be started before
restoring the database.
1.
Open
Saveris Client
.
2. Select
Project
on the dialogue box and click
on
[Cancel]
.
3. Click on
Options
|
Administration
|
Restore database
.
4.
Select the *bak file containing the database
backup.
5.
In the
Find folder
dialogue box, select the
directory for the backup (e.g.
c:\Programs\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\ ).
6.
Confirm the following messages with
[OK]
.
The overview window of the projects is
simply a source of information.
- The database is restored.
7. Close
Saveris Client
.
Backup
settings
Opens the dialogue box for setting the
automatic protection.
For security reasons, backup files
should be saved on a different PC to
the Saveris database.
