Using the telephone with partners

Engaging a line for a partner
You can make a connection for a partner telephone from your own phone within a
partner group. E. g. a secretary can make a connection for her boss. A ”Boss” func-
tion key must be set on the secretary’s telephone for this.

Press the ”Boss” function key.

Press the key for the partner for whom you wish to engage a line, e.g.
”Partner 01” The status message ”line busy” appears on the display of the partner
telephone The partner can carry on phoning. You can now make a connection for
him. Calls for the partner are diverted to your phone.
Making a connection for a partner
You have engaged a line for a partner telephone and want to make a connection for
this partner.
...
Enter the desired call number.
When the subscriber answers:
Initiate refer--back.
PA01
Press partner key e.g. ”Partner 01”.
Replace the handset. The partner is then connected with the other partner.
Your own telephone is then free again. The partner call diversion is now deacti-
vated.

It is possible that your telephone has been set up for
Multiline
instead of for
partner functions. If this is the case, then the partner functions are not available.
Please ask the TENOVIS Service for help.

If you have picked up the handset and then replaced it, the line is free again
unless you are using the ”Redial according to time” function.
