Make it easy on yourself
Adjust volume
You can adjust various acoustic settings, such as the ringing of the handset or the
handsfree mode settings, to adapt to your surroundings.
Adjusting the contrast of the display
You can adjust the contrast of the display according to your surroundings
(see Page 129).
Specifying the language of the menu
The menu items can be displayed in either English, German or French (see Page
130). In addition you can separately determine the language for the Minimail texts.
Storing call numbers
Your phone has a personal telephone book, in which you can store frequently used
call numbers. You can modify the telephone--book entries yourself (see Page 38).
Handsfree when called
You can set your telephone to automatically answer calls in the handsfree mode.
You will not need to lift the handset and can immediately start speaking to the caller
(see Page 115).
Labelling function keys
Labelling strips for you to write the as-
signed functions are provided next to the
freely assignable function keys.
You can then see at a glance which func-
tions are assigned to these four keys.
