Setting VIP functions

off:

The VIP function is not available.

Authorised users:

The VIP functions are only available for subscribers

that you have previously indicated in your telephone book by the entry ”VIP
number yes”.

on:

VIP functions available for all subscribers.

You are indicating a call number as a VIP number in your telephone book.

View the message that has been received from a VIP subscriber while your
line was busy.

Menu items that prepare your telephone for sending VIP calls

The receiving subscriber needs to have the function ”Receive VIP func-
tions” activated in order to receive the attributes.

Normal call:

The VIP functions are deactivated and the telephone will re-

ceive an incoming call like a normal telephone.

VIP call:

A call placed via partner or destination keys rings with a VIP ring-

ing tone. The call number of the calling subscriber is displayed.

Announcement:

You can make an announcement. The telephone of the

called VIP partner activates the monitoring.

Announcement with acknowledgement:

You can make an announce-

ment. The called telephone will activate the handsfree microphone and the
VIP subscriber can answer directly.

Text if busy:

You can send messages to the called VIP subscriber, if their

line is busy.

Activates /deactivates the VIP functions on your telephone.
