1705A Spectrum Monitor

Adjust FOCUS, INTENSITY, SCALE, and SWEEP SPEED for a
useable display.

Place the 2

marker on the left edge of the graticule. See Figure 5-2.

REQUIREMENT —

One marker per 5 Divisions

1 Division. Readout

accuracy: L--Band

20 MHz. 70 MHz

2 MHz.

Select 1 MHz SPAN/DIV.

Set the CENTER FREQUENCY to read 70 MHz.

Center the readout caret horizontally on screen.

Readjust CENTER FREQUENCY, if necessary.

Repeat with Center Frequency at 50 MHz and 90 MHz.

Connect the leveled sine wave generator to the 70 MHz input without
