IO State (Input/Output Status) displays in real-time the status of the controller 
inputs (upper line) and outputs (lower line).  In all cases, a value of 1 indicates 
that the input or output is on (or active) and a value of 0 shows that the input or 
output is off (or inactive).

The Voltage

Voltage menu displays the input voltage (value A) and the on-board 

regulated voltage (value B) in real-time.  This can be particularly useful to 
determine if power supply to the SOLOgarde controller is causing problems.  Note 
that an alarm condition will be signalled together with a flashing red Activity LED 
on the SOLOgarde controller should the input supply or regulated supply voltage 
fall outside of limits.  The limits are given as follows: 
 

 

Value A: 9.1 V to 14.9 V 

 

Value B: 4.9 V to 5.1 V.

Memory screen shows the amount of memory that has been used within the 

controller.

UID is reserved for future use.  At present the UID screen shows the 
development date of the product. 

 

The Version

Version screen shows the version of the software that is currently running 

in the SOLOgarde controller. 

 

The original Master Card presented is shown in the Master

Master screen.  This is 

particularly useful if there are multiple Master Cards it is unclear which one was 
originally presented.  The original Master Card is needs to be available if more 
cards are to be added using the Master Card supplied with subsequent card packs.  
Refer to section 3.1.1 of this manual on further details on adding cards to the 
system using the Master Card from a card pack. 
 
The number displayed is the last 8 digits of the number printed on the Master 
Card. 

 
SOLOgarde can also run a self check to test the integrity of the following items: 
 

 

Flash memory read/write or erase issues 

 

Input power supply out-of-range 

 

Regulated power supply out-of-range 

 

If an alarm has been triggered 

 

Memory errors 

 

Boot loaded (firmware) errors.
