Should the tamper switch become active (i.e. be taken to 0V), the SOLOgarde alarm will be activated. This will continue for
the am amount of time that the tamper switch is active and for 30 seconds after. For details on how to wire the tamper
switch, please refer to figure 13 Wiring a Tamper Switch.

The SOLOgarde will also signal an alarm condition if the input voltage is out-of-range. This will continue until the voltage
returns to its normal level and the alarm is reset using the hand-held programmer.

Turn the hand-held programmer on by pressing and holding the power button on
the top and connect it to the bottom of the reader and log-in to the controller by
entering the 4-digit password followed by the *
** * button. For more details on
logging-in and the password feature, please refer to section 4.2 of this manual.
Ensure that the ACU ACU ACU ACU menu option is highlighted (flashing) and press the * ** * key to
select it.
