7.1 Battery Cover
Remove the cir-clips securing the pivot pins to the
cover hinges and remove the pivot pins.
Take care to retain the washers between the
cir-clip and casing.
Remove the battery cover from the machine.
Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure.
The Talaria Sting rear fairing and saddle unit is
designed to be removed as a complete assembly for
repair or replacement. Before removal, disconnect
and remove the battery pack from the machine.
To remove the battery cover, first open the cover with
the ignition key.
