7. On the left side of the motor, remove the mounting
bolts (
M8 x 75mm, 51mm spacer
& M8 x 80mm,
M8 x 80mm,
59.5mm spacer
59.5mm spacer) securing the left side of the motor &
gearbox assembly.
When refitting, tighten to 40Nm
8. Support the motor and gearbox with a suitable
lifting stand. Remove the 2 right hand bolts (M8
x 25mm) securing the motor and gearbox to the
chassis.
When refitting, tighten to 35Nm
9. Remove the rear motor mounting nut and bolt
(M10 x 80mm). The motor is now detached from the
chassis.
When refitting, tighten to 55Nm
10. Lower the motor and slide forwards to remove
the motor and gearbox from the machine.
Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure.
If the motor is to be replaced, remove the gearbox
(Chapter 6.2)
When refitting, fill the gearbox with 120-150ml
85w/90 Hypoid gear oil.
6.1 Electric Motor
6. Remove the DC-DC unit, unscrew the 2 bolts
(M6 x 11mm) securing it to the Motor mount and
disconnect the gearbox breather at the rear of the
gearbox assembly.
When refitting, tighten to 7Nm
