Check for bad DIMM modules or chips.

Try to install the minimum memory first (single bank).
Losing the System’s Setup Configuration
1.
Check the setting of jumper JBT1. Ensure that you are using
a high quality power supply. A poor quality power supply may
cause the system to lose the CMOS setup. Refer to Chapter
1 of this manual for details.

If the above step does not fix the Setup Configuration prob-
lem, contact your vendor for repair.

our website FAQ at http://www.supermicro.com.

Take note that the motherboard manufacturer Super Micro
does not sell directly to end-users, so it is best to check with
your distributor or reseller for troubleshooting services. They
should know of any possible problem(s) with the specific
system configuration that was sold to you.

BIOS upgrades can be downloaded from the SUPER BBS#
(408) 895-2022, 24 hours a day, using 1200-28800 baud, 8
data bits, 1 stop bit and no parity.

http://www.supermicro.com.

If you still cannot resolve the problem, include the following
information when you e-mail Super Micro for technical sup-
port:

BIOS release date/version
•
System board serial number
•
Product model name
•
Invoice number and date
•
System configuration
