Fan Headers*
T h e s i x C P U a n d c h a s s i s f a n
headers are designated CPU1/2
FAN, CPU1/2 CHASSIS FAN and
CHASSIS FAN 1/2. Refer to Table
2-19 for pin definitions.
Wake-On-LAN (WOL)
The Wake-On-LAN header is lo-
cated on WOL1. Refer to Table 2-
17 for pin definitions. You must
enable the LAN Wake-Up setting in
BIOS to use this function. (You
must also have a LAN card with a
Wake-on-LAN connector and cable
to use this feature.)
Serial Ports
T w o s e r i a l p o r t s ( C O M 1 a n d
C O M 2 ) a r e p r o v i d e d o n y o u r
board. See Table 2-16 for the pin
definitions of connectors J13 and
J14). A 10-pin serial ribbon cable
is required if connecting a device
to a COM header.
Wake-On-Ring (WOM1)
The Wake-On-Ring header is lo-
cated on WOM1. Refer to Table 2-
18 for pin definitions. You must
enable the Ring Wake-Up setting in
BIOS to use this function. (You
must also have a modem card with
a Wake-on-Ring connector and
cable to use this feature.) Both 2-
pin and 3-pin WOM headers are
provided.
