UPER P3TDDE User’s Manual
Reset Connector
The Reset connector is located on
pins 3 and 4 of JF1. This connec-
tor attaches to the hardware reset
s w i t c h o n t h e c o m p u t e r c a s e .
See Table 2-5 for pin definitions.
PW_ON Connector
The PW_ON connector is located
on pins 1 and 2 of JF1. Momen-
t a r i l y c o n t a c t i n g b o t h p i n s w i l l
power on/off the system. The
user can also configure the power
on button to function as a suspend
b u t t o n ( s e e t h e P o w e r B u t t o n
Mode setting in BIOS). To turn off
the power when set to suspend
mode, hold down the power but-
ton for at least 4 seconds. See
Table 2-4 for pin definitions.
Overheat LED
The Overheat connector is located
on pins 7 and 8 of JF1. It attaches
to an LED to to provide warning of
chassis overheating. See Table 2-
6 for pin definitions.
Infrared Connector
The header at J18 is for infrared
devices. See Table 2-3 for pin
definitions. See the Technical
Support section of our web page
for information on the infrared de-
vices you can connect to the sys-
tem.
