This Quick Start Guide will walk you through the steps required to 
demonstrate  HomeKit  AEK/ADK  on  GS2200M  SKB  (Starter  Kit
Board).
 

GS2200M SKB Hostless 

HomeKit AEK/ADK 

The GS2200M_SKB has the GainSpan Wi-Fi module and the 

Apple Wireless Accessory Configuration Chip (WAC) installed on 

the board.

Your kit contains:

Quick Start Guide (this document)

GS2200M_SKB with WAC

Serial Cable (USB to Mini-USB)

Build the AEK/ADK Package

Program the SKB

For ADK including SDK package,
Click 

Build

 option to generate the HomeKit binaries.

 
The build configuration is submitted and a confirmation e-mail is sent 
notifying that the HomeKit AEK package or the HomeKit ADK 
(including SDK) package is complete and ready to download.

Download and unzip the package, for firmware binaries.

Plug the mini-USB cable, one end of the 

USB

 port to 

GS2200 SKB USB and the other end of the USB port to the 
computer or laptop.

 tab and proceed to select the following options as seen 

below:

If you do not have a login, sign up and register for a portal account

Switch SKB power switch to the ‘ON’ position and check 

if the green LED near the switch is illuminated.

Ensure the Power Measurement Switch SW6 is in the 

“ACTIVE” Position.

For AEK package, 

• Click 

Next 

to navigate to the

 Build 

option.

• Click 

OK

, and then click 

Build

 to generate the Home-

Kit binaries.
