Connect the two cables to the connectors on the motherboard.
Buckle the retaining strap by guiding the strap through the buckle and pulling it until tight.
Install the SP board. See “How to Install the Service Processor Board”on page 54 .

Note –
This component is a field-replaceable unit (FRU).
The service processor (SP) board is mounted on the motherboard and located at the rear of the
server.
Use these procedures to remove and install the SP board:

If you are replacing an SP board that is not dead, obtain the ILOM version and download the
system software release package (combined BIOS/ILOM) that incorporates that version. A
