joystick must not be
operated during start up
since the Y-table has to
be stationary while a
reference position is
measured. Switch off and on at Main Switch (make
sure that the joystick is not touched during
power up).
If the error message is still displayed,
contact a Struers service technician.
No cutting motor
rotation ERROR
(#36) Motor rotation of less than
1,000 RPM detected at
the start of cutting (D-60
only). Clear any obstruction away from the cut-off
wheel.
If the error message is still displayed, and
the cut-off wheel is actually turning, contact
a Struers service technician.
Cutting table movement
blocked! MESSAGE
(#37) The Y-table stopped
moving during a cutting
operation. Clear any obstruction away from the Y-
table’s runners.
If the error message is still displayed, and
the cut-off wheel is actually turning, contact
a Struers service technician.
Manual cleaning mode.

cooling position as

find a reference position. Switch unit off and on at Main Switch.
If the error message is still displayed,
contact a Struers service technician.
The Discotom can still be used in Manual
cutting mode.
The selected stop
position is temporary
reduced, because the
mechanical stop will be
reached before the
selected position. MESSAGE
(#103) The relative stop position
entered is beyond the
remaining Y-table travel. Move the Y-table toward the front of the
machine until there is sufficient Y-table
travel for the cutting operation to be
performed.
