Controlling playback
If you choose to preview a movie or program—by first pressing the red button on the remote
control—the only control you have over the replay is to stop it. In other words, only the
button
has functionality. The other playback buttons are disabled.
If you play the movie or program at full-screen size—by pressing the yellow button on the remote
control—all the standard playback buttons on the remote control work in the expected way:

to stop the movie.

to pause the movie.
•
Press

to start playing the movie (or to resume a paused movie).
•
Press
SLOW
once to slow down the movie to half speed; press it again to slow it to quarter
speed, and press it again to resume normal speed.

to fast forward the movie. Repeatedly press the button to increase the speed.
•
Press
to quickly rewind the movie. Repeatedly press the button to increase the speed.
•
Press
to return to the beginning of the movie. The movie starts playing again.
•
Press
to end the movie (and start playing the next movie if there is one in the folder).
•
Press
MENU
to stop playing and return to your file list.
Recording movies
You can record whatever movie or program is currently being received by the
. (Note
that music cannot be recorded.)
NOTE
: A movie or program is recorded on a USB memory stick. A USB memory stick is not
supplied with the
.
1. Insert a USB memory stick into the USB port on the front of the
. (Make sure that the
memory stick has sufficient spare capacity to record the movie or program.)
2. Press on the remote control. Recording begins immediately.
While recording is taking place,
REC
appears on the screen.
3. To stop recording, press . When asked to confirm that you want to stop recording, press
VOL

is highlighted and then press

.
Your recording is automatically saved in a folder named
PVR
on the USB memory stick.
