Autotuning determines automaticly the optimal PID-
parameters for every controlled system (=mould).
Only this guarantees a stable and precise tempera-
ture control,
that‘s why performing an autotuning
at least once for every mould is essential for a
stable operation.
General information about self-optimizing (autotuning) :
The optimizing algorithm calculates automatically the op-
timal PID-parameters (Xp, Tv and Tn) and the switching-
cycle time. With the setting „Automatic“, the autotuning is
performed at start-up after the softstart-phase below the
