During the softstart, the controllers output response
is limited to a preselected
softstart output ratio
in order to achieve a slow baking out of high perfor-
mance heating cartridges. Once the process value
reaches the
softstart setpoint
, it remains stable at
this value for a preselected
softstart duration time
.
At the end of this period, the process value rises to
the assigned setpoint.
