The status indicator on the
controller card repeatedly
flashes three times
Check the sen-
sor or sensor
connections (the
pressure signal is
not reaching the
controller card).
1. Switch the spray gun OFF and unplug the power cable from the
device.
2. Check the sensor and cable connections on the controller card.
3. Disconnect the sensor from the socket on the controller card.
Make sure that the contacts on the sensor and controller card
are clean and undamaged.
4. Reconnect the sensor with the socket on the controller card.
Reconnect the power cable; switch the spray gun ON, and turn
the pressure regulator knob clockwise half a turn. If the spray
gun still does not start up, switch the device OFF and proceed
with the next step.
5. Connect a sensor that is working properly to the socket on the
controller card.
6. Switch the spray gun ON, and turn the pressure regulator knob
clockwise half a turn. If the spray gun works, install a new
pressure sensor. Replace the controller card if the spray gun
still does not start up.
7. Check the sensor resistance with an ohmmeter (less than 9000
ohms between the red and black cables, and 3-6 kilo-ohms
between the green and yellow).

Check the power
supply to the
spraying device
(the controller
card has detected
several voltage
peaks).
1. Switch the spray gun OFF and unplug the power cable from the
spraying device.
2. Locate a power supply that is working properly to avoid damage
to the electronics.

The status indicator on the

flashes five times
The controller is
telling the motor
to start, but the
motor shaft is
not rotating. The
rotor may be
blocked, open
circuit between
the motor and
the controller,
problem with the
motor and the
controller card, or
excessive power
draw at the
motor.
1. Disconnect the pump from the drive and check whether the
motor runs. If the motor starts up, check for a blocked or frozen
pump or drivetrain. If the motor does not start up, proceed with
step 2.
2. Switch the spray gun OFF and unplug the power cable from the
device.
3. Disconnect the motor connector from the socket(s) on the con-
troller card. Make sure that the contacts on the motor connec-
tor and controller card are clean and undamaged. If the contacts
are clean and undamaged, proceed with step 4.
4. Switch the spray gun OFF, and turn the motor fan through half
a turn. Restart the spraying device. If the spraying device runs,
replace the controller card. If the spraying device does not start
up, switch the device OFF, disconnect the power plug, and pro-
ceed with step 5.
