Overvoltage and undervoltage protection
This spraying device has automatic protection against excessively high or low voltage. If the spraying device is con-
nected to a power supply with too low or too high a voltage, the device switches to protection mode.
One of three possible error codes is displayed:
1. Multiple voltage peaks
detected – disconnect the
spraying device from the
power supply and locate a sui-
table power supply to avoid
damage to the electronics.
A typical cause of this fault
is connecting the device to a power supply with a higher
rating than the spraying devices voltage rating. Connect
the device to a circuit with the correct operating voltage.
2. The input voltage is too
low to operate the spraying
device – disconnect the spra-
ying device from the power
supply and locate a suitable
power supply to avoid damage
to the electronics.
A typical cause of this fault is other devices also attached
to the power circuit or generator that are frequently swit-
ched on and off under load. Connect the spraying device
to its own power supply.
3. The spraying device is con-
nected to the wrong voltage –
disconnect the spraying device
from the power supply and
locate a suitable power supp-
ly.
A typical cause of this error is an RCD device set to the
incorrect voltage (240 V vs. 120 V). The spraying device
has not been damaged. Locate a circuit with the correct
voltage to be able to use the spraying device correctly.
Digital query modes
Displays and keypress combinations:
1. Press briefly to move to the next display
2. Hold down for approx. 5 seconds to change the units,
or reset the data.
Important:
To be able to change the units, you must first relieve the
pressure:
1. Turn the potentiometer anti-clockwise up to the stop
2. Press the trigger to relieve the pressure
3. Open the bypass switch (vertical position).
Changing the pressure display units
1. Switch on the device (set to ON).
2. The pressure display is shown: you can see dashes,
provided that the pressure is not above 14 bar.
3. Hold down the button for 5 seconds to change the
pressure units (psi, bar, MPa). Changing the selection
from bar or MPa also changes the display from gal-
lons to litres x 10.
To change the display units, the display must be in pres-
sure display mode, and the pressure must be relieved.
