EXAMPLE:
The process to apply 70kg/ha of urea 45% N PRILLIS, grain diameter of 2.28mm and with a
specific weight of 0.78 kg/l.
1) Application coditions-
Dose: 70kg/ha
Discs: 18-24 Fertilizers (see example on pg. 34, item 10.1)
Distribution width: 24m
Vane positions: 17/49 (see table)
Vane position: minor 17
Vane position: major 49
2) Remove (dismount) the distribution discs from the machine and the fertilizer deflector set (p/n:
7410-3030). Mount the sample collection set (p/n: 7410-3029) to obtain the product collection;
3) Place the product in the distribution chamber and make a 50m run to distribute the product.
Check the floodgate opening for the product as it drops onto the conveyor belt, it should be full of
product, or be it, before making the collection run (50m) distribute the product normally (travel with
the equipment in operation) so that the product dropping will not compromise the 50m distribution;
4) Make sure that the 3rd step has been completed and that the sample buckets are empty, begin
the distribution process at the desired speeds within the specified area (50m x job width);
5) Weigh the collected product in the two buckets and make the following evaluations:
Quantity to be collected in the 2 = (24m X 50m) X (70 Kg/ha) = 8.4 (kg)

On a 50m run, with a distribution width of 24m, the amount to be collected should be 8.4 kg in both
buckets to obtain the quantity of 70 kg/ha.
