10.5 - Conveyor gear box adjustment
The operation of the conveyor is done through the
gear box, as shown on figure 23, there are three
adjustable positions. The positions are used as follows:
Position 1
: is used for low flow rates (fertilizers
under 1,500 kg/ha).
Position 2
: is used in higher rates (fertilizers above
1,500 kg/ha).
Position 0
: dead band, gears spin when empty.
IMPORTANT!
Gear changes(positions) should only be
done
, when the machine is stopped!

Due to various brands and models, it is necessary to adjust the length of the cardan in its
first usage.

The operation of the
distribution discs, has a specific setting
which needs to be maintained, so that the product distribution will not be jeopardized, this is in
regards to the positioning of the same, above the discs. The distance sho
uld be maintained at
100mm, from the disc center-line to the outer most edge of chassi, as shown on figure 24.
