Hardware Setup

SY-D6IGA

1. Mount the Motherboard on the Computer Chassis

You must first install the SY-D6IGA motherboard on the computer

chassis. The motherboard should be 

bare (without DRM and CPU)

and 

disconnected

 from any power source.

Position the motherboard with its mounting holes facing the

corresponding attachment holes on the chassis and tighten the

motherboard mounting screws.

2. Check the Parts Required for CPU Installation

Part 1: DRM (Dual Retention Mechanism)

This motherboard is shipped with a 

DRM (Dual Retention

Mechanism)

 assembly to hold the single or dual Xeon™

processor in Slot2 #1 and Slot2 #2.
