Although the REMOTE connector is compatible
with the conventional REMOTE2 connector,
RM-5500 Remote Control Unit cannot be used
when connected.

Display the [Remote Setup] tab of the [System
Setup] screen.

Capture Push the foot switch to capture
images to memory. Has the same
function as the CAPTURE button
on the printer.
Print Push the foot switch to begin
printing. Has the same function as
the PRINT button on the printer.

Each foot switch push captures an
image to a memory page that
does not have a print queue, and
starts a print operation.
If you press the switch during
printing, the current print
operation is queued and will begin
when the previous one completes.

Each foot switch push captures an
image to a memory page that
does not have an internal print
queue, and starts a print
operation. Once a full round of the
memory is complete, a new image
is captured to memory. Note that
the previous image will be
deleted.

Each push of the foot switch
captures an image to memory, and
when the last memory page is
reached, “Press any button”
appears and image capturing is
inactivated.

Each time you push the foot
switch, the cursor on the reduced
image screen moves to the
previous screen.
Each time you push the foot
switch, the cursor on the reduced
image screen moves to the next
screen.
Stop Push the foot switch to end print
operations once the current print
is finished.

Push the foot switch while a
memory image is displayed on the
video monitor to switch to source
image display. If you push the foot
switch while a source image is
displayed on the screen, it will be
captured to memory. However, it
will not switch memory pages. If
you push the foot switch again,
the next image will be captured to
the same page.
