4.3.2 Fiber Connectivity
Two dual fibre ports are available as an option. Each port can be configured as one of the
following:
•
Dual receivers
•
Dual transmitters
•
Transceiver (Tx + Rx)
•
Not fitted
4.4 Control Connections
4.4.1 GPI Pin Numbers
The GPIs are accessed via a 9-way D-type male connector. In the following table, GPI refers
to inputs.
If no fiber option is fitted on the rear panel, do not remove the safety covers from the option
slots.
Note:
If all the optional SFP connectors A1, A2, B1, and B2 are fitted as receivers, they will not
be available as transmitters. Likewise, if they are fitted as transmitters, they will not be
available as receivers.
