SMC parameters
The JXC controller has parameters designated for SMC which can be set using IO-Link
communication:
These are Basic parameter, Origin parameter, Drive parameter (for setting jogging speed and inching
distance), Alarm, and Step data.
Refer to (2-1) (2-2) (2-3) for the parameters.
Refer to
12.2-12.4 Parameter (P.
for further details of Basic, Origin and Drive parameters.
Refer to
12.1 Step data (P.
for further details of Step data.
Some of the SMC parameters will be reflected in the IO-Link master when the data storage function is
used.
The parameters stored by the data storage function are parameters indicated with “Y” in section (2-1)
and (2-2).
Caution
When the parameters are to be changed using IO-Link communication, upload all parameters
from the JXCL1 controller before making the change.
The set values for SMC parameters ("Basic parameter" "Origin parameter" "Drive parameter"
”
Step
data
”
) are different depending on the connected actuator. The initial value for IODD is a default value only.
When parameters are changed using IO-Link communication, it is necessary to upload the parameters of
the connected actuator from the JXCL1 controller to reflect the parameters to the IO-Link master setting
tool.
