Advanced (Advanced AP Inst Group)
Allows the user to configure specific devices on the network.
For most devices the only options will be “Set PGN Update Rates” and “Device Info”
The first option will retrieve a list of PGNs’ emitted by that device and allow a user
to request changes to the rate of emittance of a given PGN through a menu.
The second option will display some basic information on the device, such as the
Model ID, Serial, and Software Version
For some proprietary
Sitex
devices, the options “Compass Constants”, “Cal. Compass”,
“Compass Settings”, “Compass Attitude Biases”, and “0183 Port Configuration” will also
appear. These allow for advanced configuration of those devices.
Verify Installation

This menu item will let you check all controllers and remotes that are current linked to
the same SPU as this head.

AP Inst Group
There are four Distance Units: m (Meter), Km (Kilometer/second), mil (mile/second), nm
(nautical mile/second)
Linked SPU
Allows users to select one SPU from multiple SPUs on the
NMEA 2000
network. Please
note that the screen will show all the devices on the
NMEA 2000
Network, you must then
select the device with “
Sitex
SPU.” Selecting a device which is not SPU, will show an
error message.
Data Sources
Allows users to choose Heading and Navigation Data Source that are on the
NMEA 2000
Network for use in AUTO and NAV mode. There are nine choices of modifiable Data
Sources:

SPU (Signal Processor Source) Source

RFU (Rudder Follower Source) Source
3.
HDG (Heading) Source
