MOWER DECK REPAIR
Mower Removal & Installation
1. Park tractor on a hard, level surface such as a con-
crete floor. Turn off the PTO switch and ignition
switch, remove the key, and apply parking brake.
2. Place the mower in the lowest cutting height position.
3. Place the mower lift in the lowest position.
4. Pull the idler arm to release tension on the PTO belt
and remove the belt from the PTO pulley.
5. Manual lift models see Figure 7.

Disconnect the clevis pins (D) from both sides of
the deck. Remove the lift cable (A) from the lift
pulley (B).
Electric lift models see Figure 8.

Remove the safety clips (D) and disconnect the
clevis pins (C, F) from the lift chains.
6. Turn wheels straight ahead. Pull back on spring-
loaded lever (B, Figure 9) and lift mower hitch off of
the tractor brackets (A).
7. Turn wheels fully left, and slide mower deck out right
side of tractor.
WARNING
Stop engine and remove key. Do not engage PTO
until mower is completely installed and operator
is seated.
