7 Transmission Repair

7E Tuff Torq K210A

Removal & Installation

1. Elevate the rear end.  See Elevating Rear End for

Safe Service.

2. Remove the wheels.  See Rear Wheel Removal

NOTE:  If the transaxle is to be rebuilt, it is recommend-
ed that the oil be drained at this time. The drain plug is
located at the bottom left of case.  When refilling, use
124 oz. of 10W-30 engine oil.

3. Unhook front of shift interlock return spring from inter-

lock lever on front left side of transaxle.

4. Remove cotter pin and washer holding shift interlock

rod to interlock lever.

5. Depress clutch pedal and remove transaxle drive belt

from input shaft pulley on top of transaxle.

6. Remove nut and washer holding ball joint to transaxle

shift lever.

7. Remove cotter pin and washer holding brake rod to

brake lever on right side of transaxle.
