Clearing MRIB Information 

Clearing Total or Partial Group Entry of MRIB 

If you use the 

clear ip mroute

 command, the MRIB clears the multicast route entries in 

its multicast route table, and removes the entries from the multicast forwarder. Each mul-
ticast protocol has its own clear multicast route command. The protocol-specific 

clear

 

command clears multicast routes from the protocol, and also clears the routes from the 
MRIB. 

To delete the multicast route entries, use the following command.
