kVAh – Apparent Energy defined as Kilovolt-Ampere-Hours
is a measure of apparent energy. if the power factor has been constant (1.0) during the time period of metering (measuring) the load, then
kVAh * Power Factor = kWh, or kWh/kVAh= Average PF. kVAh is primarily metered and used by utility suppliers for various billing uses based
upon the user's average power factor; often a concern of industrial applications.
System Total Apparent Energy (kVAh System)
= unsigned value of ABS(kVAh L1)+ABS(kVAh L2)+ABS(kVAh L3), in kVAh
= kVAh Sys, signed, absolute, in kW, BACnet
= kVAh Sys value, unsigned, total instantaneous true energy, in kVAh
= positive kVAh Sys, unsigned, positive instantaneous true energy, in kVAh
= negative kVAh Sys, unsigned, negative instantaneous true energy, in kVAh
