The entries are in hexadecimal format. The record has a length of OxOD = 13 Bytes and the file has a length of 0x82 =
130 bytes. Therefore the file has 130/13 = 10 entries.
EF
EXT2
Therefore there are 65/13 = 5 entries.
Individual entries can be read with the AT+CRSM command.
Entry 1 and 5 of EF
EXT1
In this case there is no entry in index 5.
Note: If there are entries in EF
EXT1
and EF
EXT2
without corresponding entries in the SIM phonebooks, the entries in
EF
EXT1
and EF
EXT2
can manually be deleted with the AT+CRSM command.
Behaviour with full EF
EXT1
The command AT+CPBW writes numbers with less than 20 digits normally to the SIM card. If the number is longer than
20 digits, there will be an error result code "AT+CME ERROR: SIM failure" and the entry is not written to the phone-
book. When calling a 40 digits number with ATD, there will no number be written to the "LD" phonebook. No error mes-
sage is reported.
