Configuring the wireless AP

Modifying wireless AP settings

Click the

Static Configuration

tab.

Select one of the VLAN settings for the wireless AP:

●

Tagged - VLAN ID

– Select if you want to assign this AP to a specific VLAN and type

the value in the box.

●

Untagged

– Select if you want this AP to be untagged. This option is selected by

default.

Select one of the two methods of IP address assignment for the wireless AP:

●

Use DHCP

– Select this option to enable Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol

(DHCP). This option is enabled by default.

●

Static Values

– Select this option to specify the IP address of the wireless AP.

●

IP Address

– Type the IP address of the AP.

●

Subnet Mask

– Type the appropriate subnet mask to separate the network portion

from the host portion of the address.

●

Gateway

– Type the default gateway of the network.
