This manual contains important information you must ob-
serve in the interest of your own personal safety and to

The unit may be started up and operated only by qualified

start up, ground and label units, systems and circuits in kee-

The ET 200 handheld is a low–priced alternative to the pro-
grammer for system start–up and diagnostic functions in
connection with

the ET 200 slave stations ET 200B, ET 200C,
ET 200K and ET 200U

a DP Standard slave
or

a slave station with an SPM module that can be operated
on the SINEC L2–DP LAN.
With the ET 200 handheld, you can

determine and display the number of a slave station

Change the station number (not in the case of the
ET 200B/U)

display the status of the inputs

force the outputs
S
carry out self–test functions on the ET 200 handheld
