When you have selected the module with the
key, you
are in the STATUS/FORCE display.
In this display, you can
S
have the status of inputs displayed
or
S
force the outputs with the cursor keys, digits and letters.
You can “freeze” the status of the inputs with
. The
“frozen” status is represented by a propeller symbol. Termi-
nate “freezing” with
.
“High–byte” means “byte n”, “low–byte” means
“byte n + 1”.
You can also see whether a module diagnostics bit has been
set (
Table 9.5).

Blinking
At least one module is reporting the
setting of a diagnostics bit.
Go up one display with the key in
order to identify the module.
Bright, but
steady
There are no modules in the slave sta-
tion reporting the setting of diagnostics
bits.
The STATUS/FORCE display is independent of the type of
module (address identifier).
