Bit position
The ET 200C slave station is accessed in the same way as
an SPM module: “
TYP0
” (8DI) or “
TYP1
” (8DQ) and
“
CODE2
” are inserted for the ET 200C.
Then the station number read in is displayed. If station
number 126 is displayed, this means that the station has not
yet been assigned a valid station number. You may change
the station number by pressing
for Yes (valid station
numbers: 3 to 124).
If you have entered the station number correctly, it is dis-
played for approximately 3 seconds.
If diagnostic bits have been reported, the “
Dia–over-
view
” display for the input or output port concerned is
displayed.
Press
to branch to the STATUS/FORCE display: The
connector with the corresponding configuration and the
status of the connections appears on the display.
Outputs: You can change the status of the outputs with the
numerical keys 0 and 1.
The outputs are set with
.
Inputs: You can press
to “freeze” the status of the in-
puts. The “frozen” state is represented by a propeller sym-
bol. Terminate “freezing” with
.
Diagnostics: If “Dia” and a 0 or 1 is flashing, the associa-
ted input or output is faulted (e.g. wire–break or short–cir-
cuit).
Leaving the display: Press
to exit this display.
