Header No.: You can select the existing diagnostics mes-
sages with the cursor keys. The abbreviations have the fol-
lowing meanings:
DeviceDia
Device–specific diagnostic bits have
been reported.
SlotDia
Identifier–specific or channel diagnostic
bits have been reported.
The Header No. is not displayed unless device–specific
diagnostic bits as well as identifier–specific/channel dia-
gnostic bits have been reported. Otherwise the ET 200
handheld branches immediately to the diagnostics message.

for branching to device–speci-
fic or identifier–specific/channel diagnostics.
Device–specific diagnostics: Device–specific diagnostics
comprises up to 25 bytes. For length and significance of
device–specific diagnostics, please refer to the DP Standard
Slave manual.

sponding values as hexadecimal numbers.
