How to proceed after connecting the ET 200 handheld
to the slave station

How to get into the self–test function.
The self–test function is not mandatory. You only need it if
you suspect, for instance, that a key is not functioning pro-
perly or that errors are appearing in the display.
Normally you do not need the self–test function.

This may be a dangerous plant
condition!
The ET 200 handheld cannot be op-
erated on the active SINEC L2–DP
LAN:
Always first unplug the SINEC
L2–DP LAN before plugging the
ET 200 handheld into the connector
of the slave station.
