Mounting the PZE-4B
Refer to Figure 14 to mount the PZE-4B module to the PMK-1
mounting bracket.
NOTE:
The PCM-1 must be installed before mounting and wiring
the PZE-4B Zone Expander.
NOTE:
If the PZC-4D is used to convert the system to Class A,
refer to the
PZC-4D Installation Instructions,
P/N 315-
094164, before installing the PZE-4B.
1. a. Complete the zone label with the appropriate zone
description (Refer to Figure 15).
For example:
Floor 1, East Wing
Floor 1, West Wing
Slip the label under the overlay so the information shows
through.
b. Fill in the terminal block label with the appropriate zone
information.
2. Place the bezel in the appropriate position on the PMK-1
mounting bracket (Refer to Figure 14). Be sure that the locating
pin on the bezel goes through the hole in the bracket. Secure in
place using the screws provided in the mounting holes in upper
corners of the bezel.
3. Connect the terminal blocks at the top of the IDC zone bezels so
that the blocks are facing up.
Install Interconnecting Cable
To complete the PZE-4B internal wiring connections, plug the power/
data cable, P/N 555-194066, from JP7 of the PZE-4B to JP6 of the
PCM-1. Note that the connection is made on the back of the printed
circuit board.
