Patient Studies
Patient Study Fields
To display the Patient Study fields press the
SETUP
Soft Key, then
NEW PATIENT STUDY
. When
entering data into the Patient Study field, the [
OK]
key confirms an entry. The study information
includes the fields described in the following table.
Patient Study Information Fields
Option(s)
Description
Last Name, First Name,
Middle Name
Patient name information.
Note that the patient’s name can be removed from saved image scans using the
anonymity settings. For more information, see “Removing Patient Information from
Patient ID
A unique patient ID number.
NOTE:
If you do not enter a Patient ID the system will generate one based on
time and date.
Birth Date
To enter data, use the number keys.
Gender
Select either Male or Female.
Exam
Select an Exam Type from the drop-down list.
Height, Weight
To enter data, use the number keys.
To display values using the metric system, click the
Metric
checkbox.
Accession
Type text into the field.
Diagnosis
Type text into the field.
Institution
Select from the drop-down menu.
The Institution name is displayed on the real-time imaging screen.
Physician
Select from the drop-down menu.
Operator
Select from the drop-down menu.
Comments
Enter any additional information or comments.
NOTE:
Patient Name and ID fields are limited to 64 characters. If the field is too long to be completely
displayed on the real-time scanning screen, the entry will be shortened in the display and followed by
three dots.
NOTE:
The system stores up to eight of the most recently used Institution, Physician, and Operator
entries.
