Connect the 15-pin connector on the cable to the 15-pin

 

connector

 

on the 

Cypress system (see Figure 51).

5.

Connect the power cord on the 

VCR

 and plug it in.

6.

Turn on the Cypress system, then the 

VCR

.

7.

On the Cypress system, press the 

SETUP

 function key to display the 

Setup

 

tab.

8.

Use the 

Video Out Mode

 drop-down menu to select NTSC.

9.

Press 

SETUP

 to return to 

2D

 mode or press 

2D

 to begin imaging.

10.

Insert a video tape and press the 

RECORD

 button on the 

VCR

 to record  

images.

NOTE: When images are recorded on videotape, the playback on the moni-
tor will look slightly different than the display on the Cypress system—parts 
of the bottom and right sides of the screen will not be shown. Nothing is 
wrong with your playback. All the imaging data are displayed.
