Fuse Replacement
For 110 V and 220 V applications the Cypress system uses two fuses. The fuse
rating is: 2.5A SB-250 V, 3AG or 5 x 20 mm.
WARNING
Before starting this procedure, make sure the power is
OFF
.
WARNING
Risk of fire. Replace fuse as marked.
1.
Unplug the power cable from the back of the Cypress system (the door won’t
open if the power cord is connected).
2.
Using a flat-nosed screwdriver, open the module door by inserting the screw-
driver at the top of the module and pulling down.
3.
Use a screwdriver to pull the red fuse module out.
4.
Remove the old fuses from the sides of the module.
5.
Insert the new fuses in the sides of the module.
6.
Hold the fuses in place with your hand and push the module back in the
Cypress system until it snaps into place.
7.
Close the module door. If the door doesn’t close properly, then the red fuse
module is not seated properly.
8.
Re-connect the power cable and turn the system
ON
to make sure the fuses
are working.
