AGS without restart interlock
If the AGS is operated without restart interlock, the following settings must be made:
Operating mode setting, operating mode 1 to 3:
in “External device monitoring (EDM)” select “Active”
check “Reset button active”
in “Reset performed immediately after …” select
“Press and release”
in “Connection of the reset button” select
“at the system plug”
Set scanning range in m to suit the distance between sender/receiver using the list box
set required operating mode as per the following table; you can obtain an additional
operating mode using “Add operating mode”
Operating mode 1:

Set the restart interlock
function to
“External”

Assignment of operating mode selector switch to the programmed function in
the C4000 Standard/Advanced safety light curtain
Program external device monitoring for C4000!
The external device monitoring function must always be programmed in the C4000
Standard/Advanced using the CDS software.
The operating mode assignment must be made:
Operating mode 1 is MCC-TDC sampling in protective operation
Operating mode 2 is single break PSDI mode
Operating mode 3 is double break PSDI mode
Exceptions:
LVS (450 mm and larger on filter presses) (see chapter 5.2.7)
AGS without restart interlock (as only one operating mode 1 is possible) (see
chapter 5.3.3)
